Mission and Vision

Our mission is to provide a quality program that promotes integrity and accountability and will meet the intellectual, moral, social, emotional, and physical needs of each child. It is also our mission for each child to know love, feel love, and show love by positive examples that we display and lead.

Our vision is to be an outstanding school /child care in the community to provide a nuturing environment that encourages all students to explore, learn, and succeed by inspiring a passion for learning that will enable each child to achieve his or her personal best both now and in the future by providing age-appropriate curriculum by creating meaningful partnerships with children and families of our community.

Our History


Founding: 2014 Bright Futures Early Learning Academy Launched

Anjanette Broadhurst and Neikeisha Stokes open Bright Futures Early Learning Academy as a child care center. In 2023 a Private School was incorporated for Kindergarten and PreKindergarten Education with services continuing to evolve and expand. Mrs. Broadhurst has been in Early Childhood Education for over 25 years and Mrs. Stokes has been in the education field of Early Childhood Education for 19 years and The public and Private Schools Sector (K-8) over 10 years.

Measuring and Screening Assessment

​

Bright Futures Early Learning Academy implements the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) as an assessment tool system. It focuses on both general skill development and social development. VPK, Pre-k and Kindergarten students will also be monitored and assessed through The Standardized Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) Star Early Literacy Program. This assessment will be administered 3x per year. 


Health and Safety

 

Bright Futures Early Learning Academy Health and Safety has always been our priority since 2014. We hold ourselves to a high standard of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nuturing environment where children can flourish.

​

Our Health and Safety Protocols include:

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptons or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours

  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high touch toys and surfaces.

  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff which is embedded in our daily schedule and staff protocols.

  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness to remain mindful.

  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots, and blankets for each child are sent home to be laundered weekly.

  • Continuous health and saftey training requirements for owners and staff including first aid and CPR certification.

  • Maintaining Our School Safety Plan and posting it through the school and classrooms.

  • Ensuring teacher-student ratios as required by the State of Florida
